Generations of Hometown Pride

In 1963, Louis Muench Sr. and his wife, Doris, moved to Cumberland with their family from Chicago where Louie was a meat cutter. In 1970, Louie realized his own dream and opened the doors to “Louie’s Finer Meats:’ Over 50 years later, the Muench family continues it’s legacy of “Hometown Pride” with Louie’s On The Lake. Family dining with two things in mind…good food and good friends…and of course an atmosphere only the Island City can provide.
